How Do I Install TurboCad 20 Deluxe 64 bit

Hi

I have just bought TC Deluxe via a download,  In the Zip file are two files a 64 bit version 1,736 NB and a 32 Bit version at 286,839 KB.  I tried installing the small 64 bit version and received a file corrupt measage.

Am I supposed to install the larger 32 bit application before the 64 bit application ?

My guess is that your download bombed out... and you did not get the entire file.

Try downloading again... and see if that works.

I have now downloaded this pack 4 times and the files are the same each time.

Can someone from the Turbocad team please check that the correct files are in the zip file or provide a readme to install the 64 bit version correctly.

Thanks Glen

I have downloaded this software again from a second link provided by the software supplier and it still has the same problem.  The 64bit installation application file (1,736 KB) is much smaller than the 32 bit version (286,839 KB).

Has anyone installed Turbocad 20 deluxe from a download purchase, if so can you tell me the size of the install files you used.

Thank You

Hi Glen
Is your computer a 32bit or 64 bit you only need to run one of the applications if your computer is a 32 bit just run the 32bit program & not the 64 bit program.

Hi Warren

That's the problem my computer is Win 7 64 bit and I'm trying to install the 64 bit application, but it keeps saying the file is corrupted.  Looking at the size of the 64 bit file it may have not been uploaded properly by Imsi and they don't realise there is a problem, although I can't imagine I'm the only one to have upgraded to Turbocad 20 Deluxe ??

Hi Glen

Did you use there download manager or did you use the save as command if you used save as you might want to try downloading using the download manager this might help if your previous file has become corrupt.

Something is wrong... as the file size should be close to the size of the x86 version.... give or take a few megabytes.

I have just been on to the suppliers tech support who looked at my computer remotely and he finally agreed something is not right with the files within the ZIP file.  He said they will investigate and get back to me.

I have the same problem. I have downloaded TurboCAD 20.0 using two different Web Browsers. I can install the 32 Bit version without any problem. However, the 64 Bit installation cannot be completed due to a corrupt file. How can I obtain the correct executable file from IMSI?

Not sure why you would be getting a zip file in the first place.  Here are alternate links to download the software.

Turbotech, Thank You - I can now use 64Bit TurboCAD Deluxe 20.

I purchased the upgrade via http://turbocad.upclick.com. I assume that this source is fully supported by Avantquest. The download "TurboCAD_20_Deluxe.zip" includes two executable files including 04TCDL5200_TurboCAD_Del_20-0_21-3_x64.exe dated 23/03/2013 14:12, which cannot be installed. I hope this can be fixed in the future.
