Hi Guys

Just created quite a realistic 25 LED light in the images below using RTF .... Added fog light (0.01) to the environment to get a degree of realism to emitted cone of light...

Not sure I can get fog to work in AR.....as anyone tried?

I wonder if the 32-bit version could have handled that render.

Henry

It did....just..... but only from a distance... the close up on the 25 LED light failed to complete....

Adding in the 2 wine glasses and bottle would have caused a OOM error.....

AR crashed TC 32bit....but it does render in AR is 64 bit.......fog light does not work/show in AR though.... ???

Hey Darrel,

the renderings look neat, but IMO the lighting setup is way overkill.

Please try the following:

- apply a self-illuminated material that does not emit light
- use one regular spotlight in place of the LED´s
- use luminance and shadows to create the shadows in your scene

This should bring the memory usage really down.

Michael........ Yes, i could use just one light but in this i wanted to experiment and test TC. I did start with that but just using one the effect did not look right. The LED's do have a non emitting light material applied to them. Memory usage is not a problem in TC 64 bit.......

I see. Would you mind sharing that little scene for us all to play around with it a bit? I´d love to give it a try to see how it works in my TC 17 32-bit ;)

That's pretty cool Darrel. And the light itself looks really good.
