Can anyone create an interactive movie in the montage center with the new 64 bit version? Cause I sure as heck can’t. Also, can anyone insert or add frames in montage center cause I get 3 error messages then poof! The pictures below display the error messages. Testing 1,2, you’re kidding me right. Once again it’s back to version 18. ???

You can design without engineering, but you cannot engineer without design.

Yeah, I had problems creating an avi with the montage center.   Not sure if it was just too big (there were 410 frames approx a 2.5GB 1920x1080 movie) or the resolution but it was a corrupt movie and couldn't be opened in Media Player.  But the 64bit made it through the whole thing where the 32bit couldn't.  So I just saved all the frames and created the movie manually with different software.  It seems like the MO of IMSI to get things out the door quickly.  However, I'm happy to have the ability to animate things that just wasn't possible in a 32bit environment.

On with 64bit computing....!

Sure have!  And, Coleman and Tilley lamps, out back, in case the power goes.  Never be without a pencil and something to draw on, as I was instructed, some years ago, by my Engineering Professor.  He has proven to be correct, in most things.

It's worth mentioning again, that trying to produce AVI files greater than 2GB is a bit pointless/disastrous, using Montage Center.  Saving all the images as jpegs, for large animations, and then using something else (Premier Pro 2.0, for instance), is a better way to create the final product.  I'm sure this cannot be too difficult to arrange from within AnimationLab/Montage Center, but, perhaps the commercial payback for doing so is not that great.  However, it would be nice to see this software catch up with today's needs.

And: the bci tool spsunmove doesn’t work either. That was my favorite now it’s lost forever! :'(
 Thankx Tim and Johnny I am aware of the 2gb limit.
Tim, do you have the latest release build 5.1 64 bit? Can you create a Interactive QTVR object movie?
                                                     And;
If you open montage center and click on add or insert frame button does montage give you those error prompt’s then close? Thanx!

No to both!  I'm sticking with 32-bit XP until the dust settles.
I'll let you guys sort out the bugs before changing.  ;)
I'm unlikely to need the improvements(?) in 64-bit technology, until next Year.

Hopefully, the developers will come up with a suitable solution soon - fingers crossed!

Also, it might be worth to contacting the developers direct:

Hi Guys

Is it an official bug that the Anilab cannot create an object movie? it generates all the images....but fails to create the *.mov file, no error warning though?

Montage center also crashes....
