2D from 3D

Hi I am new to TurboCad and am using V16 Pro which I must say I am very impressed with.

I wondered if it is possible to extract a 2D copy from the surface of a 3D object ?.

I need to create some machining contours for use by the CAM plugin and I cant seem to select lines directly from a 3D surface.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will need to create or re-create the 2D profile to select for machining as the CAM plugin is 2 1/2 d & not a 3D CAM package.
