This is a new thread started in response to:

"version 11, yep 11--"

Version 11.2 is good one. Still runs nicely on my Windows 7 Pro.I actually prefer to use it rather than the newer versions.Never had crash yet. Sweet!! :) But nothing but problems with  the newer trial versions using Vista Basic now that was crappy O.S.Now if Microsoft would dump the U.A.C. that would be a plus.

--As I have been very poor over the past few years, not only have I not been able to upgrade my Turbocad from version 11, but I have been reluctant to buy a new computer.

My computer is over 10 years old.  It is a Pentium 3, with 512mb Ram, and a 32mb video card.  It really stuggles with inputting and editing posts in this forum.
Anyway, as the above post mentioned, does version 11.2 really work well with Windows 7?  I've been reluctant to buy a new computer, because I didn't want to have to upgrade my TurboCAD.

Compuiter struggling- Thanks-- Alvin

Well... someone did post that it does work under Win 7. I'm still using XP.  I have up through v16, but still think ver11 is the best work-horse yet. Lots of nice bells and whistles in newer versions, esp. for 3D work; but v11 still gets the brunt of my work, esp. 2D.

 Good luck Alvin.  - Al

It works for me under Vista 64 (the few times I use it), but V11 does like to crash on exit sometimes. I usually close any drawings first, then the program, just to play it safe.
