As I mentioned earlier in Hammer's thread I think caustics would be a nice addition to TC. A while back I played around with faking caustics and found that a projector or area luminance could produce a fair result. The attached image uses an area luminance attached to a copy of the diamond. Shadows are disabled on the area luminance, so the render time really isn't negatively affected. I know the result is completely inaccurate, but still adds to the image in my opinion. Any thoughts?

That's a great looking diamond Brad.Did you create the diamond model as well, or is that the one Henry had posted a while back.
