A question:

I was using that free website noted on the TurboCAD disc having the 44 million standard items like nuts & bolts in particular, when a dialog box appeared having different types of files inclusive of AutoCAD’s, but not seeing TurboCAD listed.  Which one of those choices does TurboCAD recognize or am I to use?

You should be able to use any of the formats that TC will read. DWG and DXF are probably the most commonly available from online websites.  DWG usually results in smaller files than DXF.
