I cannot select Construction Lines for some reason, either in an old or new drawing.

The lines are visible in the drawing. What am I doing wrong?

Nothing.

What are you trying to do?

I am trying to delete a construction line.

Or, move it to a slightly different place.

Under the edit menu you can delete clear all constructions or the ones you select.

Some of us never use construction lines as it is just as easy to use regular lines that can be moved and or deleted as need dictate.

I tried the Edit > Clear > Construction.

The Edit > Clear > All Constructions works just fine. It clears ALL construction lines.

The Edit > Clear > Construction does not work because I cannot Select a single construction line! It's all or nothing. TC15 did not work like this.

Select the Clear Construction tool first and then the construction line

Sorry, Don. But I cannot select any Construction Lines at all.

Even using Select By > Layer and choosing $Construction will not select them.

The only thing that works is Edit > Clear > All Constructions, making the use of Construction Lines useless.

I'm using Vista Home Premium 64-bit, in case it makes any difference.

Now I have to make my own construction lines on a layer name of my choosing. Lots of work ahead.

You may find this information useful, about setting up buttons for the removal of construction lines.  Dave Dahlgren supplied the "how to" in the old forum.
