Rotate Dimension Text

Has anyone come across a way to rotate dimension text? In the attached image I want to rotate the text 180°. I can rotate the whole dimension and edit the extension lines but that is too time consuming.

Redefining the workplane by 3 points, flipping the direction of the x axis, and FPO the new workplane works for individual dims, keeps association.

How bizarre.  Now it's not working as it was.  Sorry about that, chief

OK, sorted, sort of.  Make the new WP ortho to the original and the text rotates about z, not y.

Sorry, I just don't follow what you are saying.

I cannot tell what Torfinn advises as its just a static image of a workplane, when I view it.

Anyway.  Murrays approach is a lot quicker than my long way.  But one 'long winded' approach is.  Show workplane on. Workplane by entity on the dimension. Edit workplane tool and using handles rotate 180 degrees. select dimension, place on workplane.   As I say its not the quickest method, and may crash if done it is too often.

What it sounds to me like Murray is suggesting.  select the dimension and make a mental note of its x and y axes directions (example x pointing right, Y pointing up).  Workplane by 3 points, snapping the x and y at 180 degrees from those noted earlier, (snapping x pointing left and y pointing down). place on workplane.

I did this in this instance.  The pic shows a rectangle drawn and dimension added on the World WP.  Then I changed the WP by the three points shown, selected and placed the dimension on the new plane and the text rotated as shown.  No change to offsets, extension lines and association.  The direction of the y axis is rotated to a new orthogonal relationship with the dimension.

I should've been clearer from the outset.

Thanks, that makes sense and is very helpful. I am much better with visual learning than text based learning.
