Simple Pyramid

Hi Folks,

I drew a square and put it at (0,0,0) and I put a point in the geometric center at (0,0, 1) I tried to make a pyramid, with the "prism" tool, which works if I use a tiny square, instead of a point. TurboCAD instructs me to use the "lofting" tool in the case of a point, which I cannot find. Any advice?

Thanks for the help,

Chris.

Use the Cone tool with "Specify 2D Base" active. Select the rectangle, give it a height and that will give you a pyramid.

If you're using TCad Deluxe, I don't think that edition includes the Lofting tool.

Hi John R.,  Many thanks.

Hi Henry H, I am using Deluxe, and you are probably correct that there is no lofting tool, but John R.'s advice and the "Cone" tool will accomplish want I need. Thanks.

You're welcome. A couple of pyramids from rectangles, some with fillets and some using the "Cut Cone" options.
