Can anyone explaine how I can draw a heart shape like a heart shaped cake. I can not Figure out how or where the radius of the sides would go. It seams like the top part of the lobe is a diff radius from some ware then the lower part of the shape.
Attached is a pdf of the type heart I am trying to draw in turbocad.

I see in the attached 8" drawing I have detail radius my other sizes do not have the radius listed, how can i calkculate?

Use the "Circle Tan to Entities"  and "Trim" tools.

Draw the 8" rectangle
Activate the "Circle Tan to Entities" tool
Lock in a 55mm Radius
"No Snap" the small circles to the corners.
Unlock the radius
"No Snap" on a circle
Activate the "Through Point" option
"M" Snap to the middle of the bottom line.
You can try to enter 180.9mm for a radius or lock it in beforehand, but my results have been miserable.
Dragging the circle out, then pasting the value in, did work for me.
Repeat for the other side.
Use the Trim tool

Hi John

I wasn't aware of the "Through Point" option - Thanks for pointing this feature out, it will come in handy!

Cheers Kurt

It's on the local menu of the Tangent to Entities tool.
