I am in the process of updating the service patch for the above but I get the message as attached. I have the application on DVD but am unable to get to *.msi as this is required. Any thoughts? If I try to view the file on DVD, it attempts to install.

I am betting this is something easy.

Interesting, as an update to the installed program should not need the installation disk.

I would suggest rebooting your system and starting TurboCAD.  If it doesn't immediately prompt you to install an update, invoke the "Check for Update" menu item under the Help pull-down menu.

If prompted for the installation disk, insert it and let the update do with it as it may.

Hi Jeff, thanks. No go. I have the downloaded file which will not allow looking for the *.msi file. Will leave it for now and may indeed contact Dave on this one.

Sorted.

"No go" for what reason?

Which file did you download?

I think you would be better off upgrading from within TurboCAD but, while I think it's a little early to go nuclear, you may have to uninstall your current version before installing from the file.

You could go to the TurboCAD 2015 page in the "Updates and Patches" board and download the latest 'full build'. You'll uninstall the old build and install this latest build. Many people use this method if they run into problems with the Update process.

Was your TurboCAD 2015 Platinum an Upgrade purchase or a Subscription? If an upgrade, it may be looking for the previous Version.
