Custom Properties in V21 Pro

Morning all, my question is dealing with the subject topic above. Can custom properties be linked as a hyperlink to file save? That is, if I save a file as 'Sliding Door for Wigwam' can this be linked directly to my 2D drawing title block? I understand I can create custom properties and edit the title from Selection Info, but a nice for me would be as I have asked.

Thanks in advance.

Would another way of stating the question Steve be:

"Can I Insert into a Drawing an updateable Link to the drawing file's name?" (and Directory path?)

I've been wanting to do this for quite some time.  I see it often in AutoCAD-created building construction plans.  Usually in some nondescript place, such as just outside of the Title Block, in the "margins".
  Example:  C:\Users\Alvin Gregorio\Documents\TurboCAD Deluxe 19\Documents\Drawings\Samples\Architectural\Kevin Mendenhall\The Smith Res..TCW;
  or simply: "The Smith Res..TCW"

This is also quite 'the norm' in SoildWorks too when saving a 2D drawing. yes, a 'nice to have' ability.

Reminds me of the other would be nice to be able to... item:

Insert an automatically-updated Date & Time of the last Save.

This-- and the file-name & directory-path-- I do manually.  Tedious, time-consuming, and sometimes I forget to update.

This sounds too complicated for TC.

Have you looked into property set definitions? They are more powerful then custom properties.

??  Could you please expound on that Nikki.  Maybe using what Steve and I are suggesting as examples.

Thank you- Alvin

Alvin I am not sure it is a solution, because it is not automatic.

You can display property sets of items (including hyperlinks)via entity marks whereas you cant display custom properties.
I haven't experimented with hyperlinks but maybe someone else can.

Hyperlinks work,  you can open many different types of files.
I don't understand fully what Steve is attempting.

I think:  Drawing-file name Inserted into/onto plans-- linked.
