Hi There,

I would like to draw a simple line and have an arrow head at one end.

How do I achieve that?

Thanks for your help.

Best Regards,

Steve, it's important to know which TCad version you're using.

You could use the "Width" options in a Polyline to create an arrowhead. See Polyline Line Widths in the Wiki.

In V21 Deluxe and Pro editions you have the Command "Insert / Dimension / Arrow Entity / Arrow Line". It uses the arrows from the Dimension tools on the end of a straight line.

You could use a leader dimension w/o text.

How do I achieve that?...

The way I usually do it-- in version-11-Pro and version-19-Deluxe:
Use the Leader Dimension Tool, and just don't type in any Text.

Attached is an example.  I did it in version-19-Deluxe, so I had the ability to create a Block (a Polyline with Widths, as John R. described) to use as a "User Defined" Arrowhead; that's the last (lowest) example.
I saved it to version-17, in case you are using versions 17 or 18.
