Here are a couple versions of a simple TV stand I had created for part of a project.

I spent some time this evening trying different materials, render scene environments, render scene luminance and various views. These are the best I came up with after a couple hours of trying this and trying that.

Very Nice Don, and isn't it amazing by tweaking a little of this and a little of that what you can come up with. Thank You Don for sharing your work. Carroll

If you're taking opinions and requests Don:  I'd like to see it in the wood version, but in Espresso-Brown-- almost a Black-- with very-apparent wood-grain.  With a little more of a brushed-nickel finish to the legs and poles.
(when you get back from vacation Don :D ;) ---  Happy New Year!)

The past few years, I have found myself attracted to a warm-contemporary architectural and furnishings style.  I term it--in my head-- a Calvin Klein look; the style I would like my next house/home to be.  (Funny: a while back I had a very vivid and detailed dream of a beautiful home in this style with these types of furnishings.  Front-cover type stuff.  No way I could actually design & draw something like that myself; but my sub-conscious imagination--whatever and wherever that is connect to-- obviously could access that creative-vision.)

Very nice Renderings Don.
