I never did figure out how to wrap a label like that.
Messed around with cylindrical wrapping for ages and then gave it up as a bad idea.
It's usually not difficult when you know the tricks, Dave.
It's all difficult for me because I am just starting with TurboCAD. What are the tricks Henry? Or can you direct me to where I can find out.
All help appreciated.
John, I've attached an excerpt from my Photorealism in TurboCAD V8
book. Since TCad has changed considerably since it was written, you will find discrepancies between what you read therein and what you see in the Material Editor. Please post questions (or email me directly) if you have difficulty resolving the conflicts.
Be aware that when you wrap an image onto an object, the entire object is covered. Therefore to wrap a label onto a portion of a bottle, for example, the most straightforward approach is to slice that portion away from the rest of the bottle, thus making it a separate object.
