How do I .... have centrelines that hide behind solids?

I'm putting an exploded assembly drawing together.

It appears that I can either have:

a) centrelines that don't hide at all

or

b) lines the hide but have no linetype shown.

What's the magic switch?

Thanks,

Convert the centerlines to 3D objects: In their Pen properties, set a nonzero Width using "World" Scaling; in their 3D properties, set a nonzero Thickness. You may have to adjust the Dash Scale in the Pen properties dialog.

Thanks Henry.

That's an elaborate procedure but it works great.

.... now did that come logically to you, or by some ballsy trial and error?

If the first - I'm nowhere near being the 'expert' my vanity's been telling me.

Cheers.
