Problem with the stretch tool.

When I use the stretch tool and start the crossing window (click then move lower right to upper left) near another line it selects this line rather than starting the stetch window. Is there maybe a setting that can stop this happening?

You can reduce Aperture size.. but that affects all other tools as well.

The stretch tool is really weak in v19...  hasn't worked good since v17.

I think you are better off using node edit....

Darrel, How would you use the node edit on the attached drawing. I want to move the lower wall below the proposed study to reduce the dimension of 450mm to 225mm ?

Nick,
Select the edit tool.
Draw a bounding box from right to left around the wall items/dimensions etc. you want to move.
Then draw a bounding box around those nodes you want to move (they will turn a magenta colour)
then input -225 in the Y text box...

See attached:

I've just installed the update. The snaps now work with the stretch, but the tool still operates in new, awkward way.

I've just filled in a survey and left a request for the old-style. You live hope..
