I'm drawing a house plan, with wall. I would like to cut sections of walls out. How can I do this?

Thank you.

Which TCad version are you using? If it's v16 Pro (and I think you also need the Architectural or Platinum edition to make this work), look at Tools|Architecture|Section/Elevation. Consult "Help" for more info.

I'm using TurboCad ver. 14 deluxe.   I've had this for a while, but never go in to it.  I have used DesignCad for my plans since DesignCad first came out. With designCad you can cut a section of wall out with Select delete. How can you do this with turbocad?

Thank you

re: With DesignCAD you can cut a section of wall out with Select delete. How can you do this with TurboCAD?

You can use a Block to make an opening in a wall.
Draw a 2D rectangle the size of the section you want to remove.
Drag it into the Blocks palette.
Now drag that Block out and drop it into the wall.
That section of wall will open up all the way to the top.

If you use a 3D Box as a Block, the wall will open around the Box.
You can move either type Block along the base of the wall and the opening will follow.

For arched openings, you will need the Architectural or Platinum edition.
