Snap on-Snap off

I don't want Projection snap on and when I select it to be off it goes off but the Opposite Point snap comes on.  I'm going back and forth, off one, on the other.  Where's the switch.  I want them both off.  I opened another drawing and it is the same.

-EDIT-  I went to Toolbar Options and deselected the Projection snap so maybe it's ok now because I seldom use it anyway.  Maybe some day I'll need it.

Well, it finally dawned on me that I can't have both on at the same time.  Not only that, but the icon squares are shaded when they're on, not when there off.  Maybe my new monitor has me stressed-out.  :-)

re: Snaps

Right-click on "SNAP" on the Status Bar or go to "Modes / Snaps / Snap Options" to bring up the Drawing Aids dialog.

Also, at "Tools / Customize—Options page", try out some of the various "Themes" for "Menus and Toolbars". One of them might be a bit better at at displaying what's on/off.

I went to Drawings Aids and got that set.  I'll use v12 UI Theme.  I can change the color of the borders in Display Properties so that the icons show up better and then I'm leaving it.  No more messing around.

Thanks for your help,
