I am trying to draw a tote (rear handle) for a Stanley Handplane. I have included a picture of it along with my drawing file. The challenge is that the tote has a basic shape that is very curvy and is rounded over to make it easier to hold/handle. I have been able to extrude the shape but the rounding over of part becomes the problem. The extruded shape has too many points to use the fillet edge command. I tried a different approach hoping to generate less points by lofting two 2D profiles of the tote but that too has generated too many data points. I'm sorry if I haven't explained my situation very well but I am a hobbyist user and I am learning as time allows.
Thanks,
Steve
