Can't 3D add

Hi,

So I've probably done this operation hundreds of times. I first draw a tube by drawing 2 cylinders and doing a subtract. That works fine and as expected. I thin draw a box that I want to join to the cylinder. I place the box where I want and go to do a #D add. I can't select the cylinder I just made to do the add with. I haven't changed anything ( intentionally ) that I know of. I've done this many times before.

I made a quick drawing ( attached ) and I can not add these two shapes.

TC 2020 Platinum

What am I missing?
Thanks
Joel

They 3D Added okay here, no matter what was selected first or what the render mode was.

Well that's just weird. Even when I reloaded that same file, I can't select the cylinder.

I'll take a look at selection properties or see if I can find something like that.

Thanks

Joel

Well, that was quick, I had some snap mode set ( center ) that apparently kept me from selecting the cylinder. I turned snaps off, and now it works
