Long ago, a contributor to TC forums gave us an add-on called UCS Views, a .dll that gives a toolbar offering standard 3D views relative to the current workplane instead of the default World WP - although it duplicates the standard views if the World WP is the current WP. The UCS Views toolbar had the viewpoint face coloured red instead of the standard views' cyan. The .dll still works in 32-bit installs, but not in 64-bit. What would it take to program a toggle key that makes the standard view toolbar apply to the current UCS? I'm thinking of holding Ctrl, say, while clicking one of the standard views' buttons, having the face turn red and the view switching to the UCS View equivalent of the standard view. We've got the UCS plan view available with ctrl + shift + W, but the full complement of views is more useful. I still use UCS Views with the 32-bit installations that I maintain for access to some things like trace and VBA that haven't been redone for X64, but it deserves porting to 64-bit, and the toggle facility I propose adds the functionality with no imposition to the UI at all.
