Hi,

Can anyone tell me what Arc Error is when making triangles? Also, is there any function to smooth contours?

Contour segment length controls apparent smoothness. contour-segment-length.png.

Arc error is the distance from the midpoint of the chord to the arc. 997px-Arc_and_chord-2.png

Hi Jerry

Why do you call it Arc error when it is Arrow ( Sagitta ) ??

LOL. Thank you so much for that. I use "Arc Error" because the smaller the value then the closer the line segment approximation will be to the actual arc. If that's what is used in the CAD world then I am cool with it! I should ad that so the user can know exactly what it is.

Thanks!

Then i know :), as this have been a word i just accept stand there, but not have any clue of the meaning and what it do.
So a little comment about it i think will help users, arrow heigth or Sagitta is a common math expression i believe, at least for me.
