Outdated TurboCAD version

Hi all,

I'm using TurboCAD Deluxe 20.0 64 bit. A client of mine has upgraded to AutoCAD 2019 and now none of the drawings he sends me opens on my machine. He has to save them to AutoCAD 2010 before sending them to me.

I use possibly a fraction of a percent of what CAD can do. For my purposes I need to annotate planning drawings and scale them to various paper sizes. My question is, do I need to upgrade, and if so, which version would be best to enable 2019 AutoCAD drawings to load?

Many thanks

Phil

Probably none. Assuming we are talking dwg files.  I don't have any 2019 files to test, but TC 2018 pro (I don't have 2018 deluxe) can only save as dwg 2018, so its likely it will only import 2018 dwg as well.

To save your client saving back, you could try the Autodesk dwg viewer (Trueview) and see if that will open his 2019 files, if it does you may be able to use it to convert the clients files to a version TC 20 can open.
