I wish there were two new dimensions: Circumference , and elliptic Diameters.

The information is available, just not as a Dimension.  Bring up the Selection Info palette and select the ellipse.

These properties are available in property set definitions.
If you use it a lot you could set up a property set definition and an entity mark

TC 2015 platinum
TC 2017 with lightworks

Have you tried the Parallel Dimension tool? Quadrant snap (Q) to the ends of the ellipse. Maybe use the "Move Text" if the dimension is within the ellipse.

If you click on the "Copy" icon in the Selection Info palette, all the Property information is sent to your web browser for easy copying.

You can get a circumference Dimension on a Circle, but not a Ellipse, with the "Angular" dimension tool set to use the "Arc Length" option.

Yes, I'm aware that the information is available, and have used it many times. I still wish it was also available as dimensions.
