Turbocad V17 to 2015 problem

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with old Turbocad TCW files, which were created with V17.
If I open a file in Turbocad 2015, it is almost impossible to work with it.
The weird thing is, that if I open the old file with Turbocad 2015 and save it to PDF, everything looks fine.
I attached a sample jpg, so you can see the problem.

Are there any settings or is it nearly impossible to convert TCW files from V17 to 2015?

Thanks.

Welcome

Can I ask what TC package are you working with, i.e. designer, deluxe, pro, pro platinum.
also if deluxe or pro, which draw mode are you working in, (options menu - native draw, GDI or RedSDK), if deluxe/pro and set to RedSDK and drawing 2D, it may be better in GDI mode which is the same as v17 will have been in, but unless you purchased Lightworks one cannot quality render 3D in GDI mode.

Sorry for questions but there are quite a few TC options available these days.

You could post a file for someone to check

Wow, thank you, the problem is solved!
I am using Pro version and the native draw mode was set to RedSDK. GDI works like a charm.

Thanks!

When you opened the V17 file, did you save it as a 2015 file?

I solve a lot of problems by saving, closing and re-opening a file.
