2d meet 2 lines

Hi,

See attached had a hell of a problem joining these lines to 3d extrude a solid. I normally use meet 2 lines and I am sure I didn't have to explode polylines eg splines beziers to get this to work in the past. However I had to explode to get it to work. Is this normal (Awhile since of 3d'd).

It would be handy when using compound profile if it HIGHLIGHTED the gaps its find's. I chew a lot of drafting time looking for tiny gaps.

thanks
Brett

In situations like this, I may use the Line Length tool to stretch the Line/Spline/Bezier endpoints past each other, then try the Meet 2 Lines tool. If that tool still gives me problems, I'll try the Object Trim tool.
