save as a DWG file

I am trying to save 2 TCAD files as a dwg file, but a bubble keeps coming up that it can't save it error unknown.  I also tried a DXF file same thing.  I am using TCAD 16.2.. I have had this problem in the past and it is always embarrassing when most companies want you to use autocad and they hire you and let you use turbocad as long as they can get their dwg file.  (same as  previous post on March 18)

Previously I did save one file as a dwg file with no problem.
I am attaching only 1 file for now as the second file is not finished at this time and there is no use in spending time on that one at this time.

Thanking you in advance,
Frank

I opened your drawing in TCad v2016 and saved it in AutoCAD2007/2009 format. TCad showed a warning that "You have selected a file format that may not support all of TurboCAD 2016's features," but it seemed to save OK. Here's the file...

I have taken my template drawing that I use for my drawings and it just has the title block on page 1.  I can't even save this as a dwg file. The only thing this title block has with it is the blocks that I re use a lot.  Can someone tell me is it the file or TCAD 16.2. that can't let me save to a dwg file?

sorry - I don't have v16 pro on this computer, just tried in v18 pro and it save fine to dwg without altering anything, I tried in v16 deluxe but got a UE, not surprising as v16 deluxe is very temperamental on my windows 10 computer

Perhaps the problem is which "version" of .dwg or .dxf you are opting to "Save As..." Frank (via "Setup").

Maybe ask Henry which "version(s)" he was successful in using. (And whatever other settings he has opted.  Maybe Henry can provideo a screen-capture of his .dwg/Setup)

Alvin, I simply accepted all of the defaults in 2016. Didn't try it in v16 'cuz I no longer have 16 (Pro) on this machine. And I don't know how well it worked.
