Lamp Shade

Hi Everyone,
Not much going on here so I thought I would post this?

I started out wanting to make a basic clear glass lamp shade as an exercise with the honest intent of keeping it REAL this time!
Obviously I have a problem & my imagination takes over every time & the attached is the end result of my attempt at keeping it real?.

I did manage to make my glass lampshade nice & clear but as for the rest my two brain cells took over once again.

For an engineer guy (I think I read that in one of your posts), you certainly have an artistic side David.

I would guesstimate that your brain's moment of inertia (I have no idea if I'm using that correctly... center of gravity??) is perfectly in the center-- equally right-brained and left-.

Cool thing and rendering you created.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks Alvin!
I am not talking about myself here but many engineers do possess incredible ingenuity & are very meticulous about what they do, you only have to look at Henry's works to see this. I know many who excel in just about "anything" they do!

Ha, I have one brain cell on the right & one on the left so I guess I'm balanced pretty good! :)

Henry, that was a surprise comment, thanks!

Glad you liked it Don!

Thanks for posting that image Darrel, interesting, & thanks for the comment!

It's a bit of TC magic that I have been working at & trying to get a handle on.
When I can give you an informative description of how to achieve it without issues I will certainly share with you!

Thanks again Everyone, much appreciated!

David this is a gorgeous use of TurboCAD.

Is this LWRender or RedSDK?

Deluxe or Pro?

Could we use this as a promo image?

Hi Travis,
Thanks for the comment, it's appreciated!

I'll have to say this quietly!
2016 Pro Plat RedSDK.
"Can you use it as a promo image"
Not a problem, use it if you wish!

Beautiful image.

I am very curious how you did it, so I second the motion that you post a tutorial.
