Powdercoated Exercise Rack Component

Got a freelance commission last Fall for a logo and they came back for a series of catalog shots of their modular exercise station gear.

I was trying for the best appearance and, quite by luck (because I'm not very good at this part of 3D modelling), came up with a Material that looks just like the powdercoated metals I encounter in my day job.

That, plus judicious beveling, leads to a photo-realistic result that is very believable (to me, at least).

I was very pleased to figure out how to make something so useful.  I started taking on simple CAD gigs to enhance my skills (I certainly wasn't doing it for the money because I had to offer cut rates to get the work), and it is paying off.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone and thanks for all the help, too.
