Text symbols

Just wondering if you can use text symbols in TC i.e. the copyright symbol. I can draw it easily enough but would be convenient to be able to type in as text. I've tried changing text font to symbols in properties but don't know how to find the copyright symbol. Is there a command shortcut for it or similar? I would insert the copyright symbol here now if I could but couldn't work that out either. Woe is me  :-[

There's probably a better way, but the method I use is to open the Character Map, choose the font you want to use, click the required symbol, then click Select followed by Copy , then just paste it into your document or drawing.

If you keyboard has a number pad / section or whatever people call it, you can press alt+0169 © (assuming the font supports it), doesn't work on my keyboard using the normal numbers above the text keys, but works fine using the number keys on the right hand side.

There are other alt codes which may be useful like alt+0174 ®, alt+0189 ½,

Thanks Andy, no numeric keypad on my laptop but worked out for mine Fn+F11 to turn on "keypad overlay" (as opposed to numbers at top which don't work) and then alt+0169 = ©.
Thanking you.
