cannot draw lines

I've done something strange to my drawing. Whenever I have my drawing face on, no perspective, I cannot see the line I'm drawing until I release the left mouse button. However, when I have it in an isometric view, everything works as normal, i.e left click attaches the start of a line to a point, which then draws in the mouse direction along the work plane until the button is released to complete the line. I cannot work out what I've done to produce this effect, and it's driving me mad. Suffice to say everything works fine on a new blank drawing.

What gives?

Most likely, your line has a "Thickness" set in Properties/3D. Change it to zero and you should see your line as it's being drawn. I rarely use "Thickness", but use one of the 3D Tools to create a 3D object from 2D Profiles (i.e. Simple Extrude).

Thanks John. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the issue. The user setup seems to be identical on both these files (see screenshots below), but whereas V3 of the drawing works normally, v5 has the strange behavior I describe.

In desperation, I've linked to the v5 itself, in case there is anyone out there who can load it and tell me what's up.

As John R suggested, there is a 25mm Line Thickness in 3D properties. Set it to zero and the lines should draw as normal.

There's so much to learn and not much time left to learn it.

Thanks so much to both of you! I obviously hadn't looked in the right place to follow John's suggestions. I've very grateful, and now will get on with the job.
