corrupted or not

Question:

What technique can you use preventing a file you’re developing; maybe being saved every hour but unknowingly is corrupted?  You obviously can’t check every function before doing a save, so how do you fix that condition - after the fact, avoiding a redraw?

I made another “Test” drawing placing a Polygon line object in its place with no problems; the original has small circles on all the vertexes as if waiting for some command.

Thanks in advance,

Bob

My guess, without seeing the drawing: It's not corrupted. The small circles are "Block Marks." You had "Auto Add Constraints" enabled when drawing the object. They can be selected and deleted, and the Polygon segments can be reconnected using Join Polyline.

If you are concerned about corruption, backup to CD or DVD each time you finish or copy the file to another directory.
