Will not save as DWG

I have Turbocad Pro 19.2 32bit Basic Edition.  I find the Drafting palette very useful.

However when I save then insert either a "Left" or "Right" view it will not save it as a DWG file.  Turbocad keeps complaining that it is an invalid file.  I can work around this by first saving as .eps and then saving the resulting file to .dwg.  But this is clunky and presents it's own problems.

Anyone else seen this happen?  Can it be fixed?

Can't replicate. What DWG format are you saving to (click on "Setup" button)? I used AutoCAD 2007/2009 and didn't run into a problem. I do get a warning that some features may not be saved in that format, but it does save as a DWG. The Drafting objects (Left & Right views) are there when opened in DWG TrueView.
