Title: Face to Face lofting example
Post by: Andy H on May 05, 2012, 07:31:33 PM
Hi

Before I link these wiki pages into other wiki pages (so they are not orphans), I just wondered if anyone can have a look and see if what I've put is understandable, it's been a long time since I did any examples like this so not sure if it makes sense.

http://www3.turbocadcommunity.com/tiki-index.php?page=Face%20to%20Face%20Loft%20Examples&pagenum=1 (http://www3.turbocadcommunity.com/tiki-index.php?page=Face%20to%20Face%20Loft%20Examples&pagenum=1)

Thanks
Andy

Clear and informative, Andy, but the important transitional condition isn't perpendicularity across the the source face, it's tangency through the edges of adjacent faces, which is why your profile surface example works as it does.

Thanks Murray for taking a look and your comments, I'll amend it with tangency.

Hi Andy,

I haven't used Face to Face lofting but I certainly know how to now based on your examples.

Great job!!
