Title: Airplane Symbols - Freeware
Post by: Dale Augsburger on August 05, 2009, 10:23:59 AM
Have been looking for accurate airplane symbols by model (Boeing 747 through various Cessna aircraft in size) in both overhead and horizontal perspective for space planning.  Have tried several freeware sites and Boeing but with no luck.

Thanks in advance if your are willing to share a link for the above.

Hiya,

I had a little look around. If you're after accurate then most options require some money.

That said I did find this.
http://www.scribd.com/doc/81491/Commercial-and-Military-Aircraft-Line-Drawings (http://www.scribd.com/doc/81491/Commercial-and-Military-Aircraft-Line-Drawings)

You need to do the free sign up for the full size version. NB no email verification :)
Or, you can have a look on the RC model sites. They seem quite good.

Example :http://www.hilbren.nl/rcplans/planes.htm (http://www.hilbren.nl/rcplans/planes.htm)

I hope you find what you're looking for  :)

Regards,

Paul.
