Title: Creating solids along paths?
Post by: Glenn on December 28, 2010, 06:48:09 PM
Ok so I am trying to create a solid between two same profiles along a 3D spline but I cant seem to get it to work.

The profiles in green are what I want to turn into a solid along the 3D spline
Can some one please help?

Here is a link to the file.

Not enough info. Need the profiles and the 3D Spline. Here's a screenshot of your drawing.

...Also, it's a lot less hassle at this end -- and a little less at your end, too -- if you attach files directly to your post instead of providing a link. Click on "Additional Options..." at the bottom of the message form and then press the "Browse" button.

I think the surest method is to add a few more profiles along the path, rotating each a little as required, then do a straightforward Loft operation.
