Title: Walls and Dafting Palette
Post by: axel bartz on June 30, 2010, 07:32:09 PM
Hi
I have probably missed something, but do walls ( as created with the wall tool ) not work when creating views with the Drafting Palette in Ver.15.2 plat/pro.?

Thanks Axel

Sorry to say, it's not something you're missing... the DP doesn't work with walls created with the Wall tool.

Thanks for that Greg.
I have found that if I explode them and then convert them to solid they will show up - for what it's worth.

Click on the options icon in the drafting palette.  Then check use surface engine.  You can now create drafting pallet objects from walls.

There is no 'Surface engine' check in the Options section of the Drafting Palette.

Unfortunately, for you, this was introduced in V16.

<sales pitch> Maybe it's time to upgrade your V15 to V17?  :-\ </pitch>

EDIT: Dialog on left is from V15, dialog on right is from V16/17.
