Title: TC2019 Display Contrast Issue
Post by: Dave2N170 on July 02, 2019, 01:32:56 PM
I have installed the trial version of TC2019 and my Workspace from my TC2018.  Immediately I see a loss of contrast in the dark areas of the model space, menus, etc., essentially the entire screen.  Dark areas in TC2018, especially greys and blacks are much lighter in TC2019.  Visually this is VERY annoying as it makes the screen much less readable.  My dual screen monitors are both 16:10 aspect @ 32B color, 1920x1200.  I assume this is due to TC2019's support of 4K monitor resolution.
My question is, can I replace a file or dll in TC2019 with one from TC2018 and regain my old screen contrast?  Or is there a setting or configuration somewhere that will allow me to regain what I had.  If not, I certainly will not be "upgrading" to TC2019 as the "washed out" look is just too hard on the eyes.

This has been commented on before.  Most of us agree that the display looks 'muddier'.

While I have not experimented with it, you could investigate the Desktop settings under the Options drop-down menu (also in the Program Setup popup menu).

Been there, done that, no joy.
