Title: Getting the printed image directly to JPEG
Post by: eriklessing on January 30, 2019, 10:46:35 AM
I have bothered many of you previously trying to get a high quality image from the display using a screen capture program called FastStone Capture. the problem is that the display represents diagonal lines, circles, etc. as jagged. However, the printout from TurboCAD is perfect and adequate for my needs. Hence I have merely scanned the printed copy on my HP Officejet printer and saved it as a JPEG file and used it in my Word or Publisher document. Works great. But, is there a way to get the JPEG file directly from TurboCAD, Version 19, Pro Platinum as this would eliminate me having to print and scan the image?

After selecting the JPG file type under Save As, be sure to enter Setup to specify the number of pixels for Width and Height.

You can experiment with JPEG quality factor, Output Range, Quality and Layout.

Tile Area should be set to an integer larger than Height * Width / 1,000,000.
