Title: Wrapping (Nothing Special)
Post by: DonCW on November 07, 2015, 05:01:08 PM
My solo attempt at UV Wrapping in 2015 using Lightworks. After several tries and then several more tries the attachment is the best I could come up with for the tissue box. I can't fathom how to render it with a tissue part way out. Maybe I'll try that in the winter.

Nice job on  the box Don.

When I did my sheet metal box tutorial I illustrated lofting a few profiles to get the tissue.

DBC Thanks for your comments, I may pursue the metal box tutorial in the winter and have a further look at lofting the tissue. There's Soooo much to learn and not much time left  to learn it.

Lovely job on the wrapping, I agree lofting is a good way to do the tissue, which could be done top to bottom (like Don) or  sideways depending how you wanted the folds (bends) to appear.
