Title: Icon size
Post by: rafter on November 16, 2013, 05:49:11 PM
I have recently purchased a new computer  and installed 20 Pro Plat, I have tried to adjust the Button size and as yet not been able to get it as large as I would like. The resolution of the monitor is at the recomended size of 1920x1080 and I have moved the slide bar on the customize tools tab all of the way to max (24,24). I am using the default screen. Am I stuck with what I have or is there a solution to my problem?

I think you're stuck with their 24 pixel limit for tool icons. V17 was the last version to have 32 pixel icons available.

I really would like to see this too. I have a 27" 2500+ res, but the icons have never been large enough for my eyes. Also tough when you are trying to mouse a specific icon over and over.. Need real still hand.

It must be nice to have 20/20 vision. When I used XP and the resolution was down around 1028 the Icons were larger now with speeds and resolution much faster everything is smaller.

You could try a smaller resolution; such as 1600×900 or 1520×855, if available. As long as you stay within the 'aspect ratio' (16×9), you should be okay.

Funny,

My monitor is 2560x1440 and I have never noticed the icons as being small.
