Thanks Don,

I saw a similar model in one of the previous TC "samples" folder some years ago.  A friend wanted to know if it was possible to do animations in TC, so I built this model and animated it in a day (using "Cheke chrome" for the balls by the way), and another day to create the sound effects (my electric razor) and aligning them properly to the movie.

nice work, I like the variation vou've applied with the balls rolling down the rails, maybe a background colour could show off the balls a bit more,

Is this the original one you meant http://www3.turbocadcommunity.com/tiki-browse_image.php?galleryId=6&sort_mode=created_desc&imageId=39&scalesize=o (http://www3.turbocadcommunity.com/tiki-browse_image.php?galleryId=6&sort_mode=created_desc&imageId=39&scalesize=o)

Yes Andy, that's the original I saw,and a background colour would have been a good idea.  I'm thinking of making the whole thing more complex.

Great stuff Gaz.  Looking forward to the sequel.

Now, I wish you hadn't mentioned electric razors, as I haven't touched one of those in nearly fifty years . . . it's a long story!

Very impressive!!!  How you modeled/animated the "trampoline" scene has me a bit puzzled, it does not look easy.

Hi Johnny,
The flat trampoline mat was a 3D mesh (picture a, below) and the bottom one was an exact copy that had been pulled down at the centre (see picture b, below)
I made the top mesh the "actor" and told it to "morph" into the bottom one - which was hidden on a separate layer.
It then appears that the trampoline flexes down and back up again.
The ball is a separate "actor" following a spline "path"
The timing is not quite right...too slow and too fast at times, and there is a slight movement of the trampoline frame...but it shows the idea.
