We regularly use TurboCad and have fairly recently purchased the TurboCad Expert 2018 version (we also have the 2016 version on some computers). One feature that we regularly use is the ability to copy and paste in Office documents such as Microsoft Word and Excel. TurboCad allows you to open these pasted documents and edit them as though you are working in Word itself. However, we have found that sometimes the program freezes or denies the editing. We think that this could be something to do with incompatibility between TurboCad and the latest Office Suite – i.e. Office 365 which we understand to be very recent. Our computers are not all yet using the same suite of office or version of TurboCad which clearly does not help)

My query regards the various versions of TurboCad (2018, 2019 and 2020 (when available)…. Also Professional V Expertnalternatives). Are any of these more suited to compatibility with the recent Office 365 (as opposed to earlier versions of Word or Excel)?

We need to know this to make sure we purchase a suitable version of TurboCad for all our computers that will have minimal compatibility issues.

Thanks in advance

Hi Ivan,

perhaps, you could try emailing Zunair at IMSI support directly.

It's worth asking.

You can design without engineering, but you cannot engineer without design.
Using Win 10 with Designer 2017-2020 and TurboCAD Pro. Plat. 2018-2020 + Lightworks (64-bit versions) + AnimationLab 5.2.
