wrong units?

I am sure this has been covered before, but, why is the area result shown, in Selection Info, as in^2?
I have used the Normal Metric template, added an image and used a polyline to calculate the area as shown.
It's a simple matter, for instance, to convert manually to cm^2, so why does TC not do this?
Using AddOns . . 2D Geometric Properties, does give the correct metric solution.

Hi Tim

Yes, Area Units

It seems I have to sometimes make a change to the Area Units in the Drawing setup to make the selection info stick I have found..

Daz,

many thanks.  I just changed Area Units from mm to cm and now all is well.  ::)
A little 'bugette', me thinks.  :)

I have noticed this too.
It seems to go back to inches when I close a drawing.

Hi Nikki,

I have tried closing and reopening the drawing, and, closing reopening TC v21.2.
The units are,  for me, still correct (metric).
