Kitchen and Bath fixtures

Over the weekend, I was working on a drawing for my sister's new bath addition. I found that Kohler's website has many 2D and 3D drawings available for their kitchen and bath sinks, tubs, toilets, and faucets. Here is the website if anyone is interested. http://www.us.kohler.com/us/.

Thanks, Jason. That could be most useful.

I gave it a try, downloading and opening a .dwg version of one of their faucets. It enters TCad as a highly faceted "TC Surface" object. If the faceting is objectionable, it can be smoothed by converting to a "SMesh" and then applying a low level of smoothing. File size with Level 1 smoothing is a tad smaller than the original .dwg. (Converting the original object to a "Solid" takes forever and does not make it any smoother.)

Thanks for that tip Henry. I am new to TC Plat so I didn't know about the smoothing operation with Smesh. I also find that I have to explode the drawing a couple of times so that I can assign different materials to the drains and overflows on the tubs and handles on the toilets.

Henry,

Any tips to reduce faceting for those of us with earlier versions without "SMesh"?

There's so much to learn and not much time left to learn it.
