cant take new cab into FM10

Hi from OZ.
when i create a new cabinet, just a basic 2ends,base top rails,2divisions,3 shelves and a back.
I then select it, create a group, name the group, then click on the generate icon in tcfm, i then get
an error window saying " there is no cabinet in the selection. what am i doing wrong.
Would be greatful for any help.

Please, send me 3D model of your cabinet in TCW with your description (some image with dimensions your cabinet).

Did you put the various pieces on the appropriate layers?

You would have had to use a TCFM10 template to do that easily.

For correct function TCFM (material change, grain direction change) must creating new cabinet symbol and :
1) Move to TCFM Layer “Cabinet body (office, kitchen)“
2) Select Cabinet
3) Chooce “Explode“
4) Chooce “Create Group“
5) TCFM Generace

Hay thanks Milan.
Sorry for late reply, I have been away for a
while. I will work through your vidio's and hopefuly
be able to use FM10 to its potential for my bussines.

I am using it more and more. Stick with it. Once you are over the hump the optimizer is quite useful.
