Hi,

On the attached file I want to move the cylinders over the countersunk holes but the parttree coordinates are not matching up with the absolute coordinates.

I have put one of the cylinders at 0,0 but that is not the world 0,0.

Anyone know if its possible to correct the coordinates back to world??

Thanks,

MPC

Hi again,

Has anyone managed to change the order of the operations in the parttree?

I removed the cylinders and redid them over the countersink holes. But now the countersink hole are covered since they come later in the partlist.

Do I have to recountersink again.

Thanks

MPC

Are you sure you really want the part tree ON? While it is advantageous sometimes, most of my drawings behave better with it OFF.

re: I want to move the cylinders over the countersunk holes

Select the Part object.
Hold the Ctrl key and click on the Cylinder you wish to move.
That section of the Part Tree will expand in Selection Info.
Click on the "Select" icon in the palette header.
The Cylinder will be selected, everything else is light blue.
You should be able to move the Cylinder in a normal fashion.
I moved the Cylinder reference point to its bottom center (D, then C snap the cylinder's bottom)
I then center snapped the cylinder to the bottom of the Hole.
Now, both bottoms are facing each other.
When done, click outside the part to return to normal.
