Text extrusions not consistent

In the attached file, I placed text on the workplane, exploded a couple times (one less for the single-character text) and did a Simple Extrude.

Some of the letters have a top face and others do not.  It does not matter if the original letters were composed of straight lines, mostly curved lines; I have gotten different results with the same character.

I suppose there is a possibility that I exploded some of the letters more than others (but I doubt it, especially the two 'E's side by side), but what I would like to know is the quickest way to fix the problem so that all the letters are solid (I want to subtract them from a panel).

Oh, yes... the data file is in V15.

Another approach to try, select Text and in text properties click on Flexible. After you finished the text, left click to select it and right click to open properties, choose 3D and give the text a thickness. See attached. HTH
